Once you have agreed a sale or purchase of a chalet the next stage is to appoint a solicitor to guide you efficiently through the legal process.

It is most important to choose the right solicitor as the process for holiday homes varies from area to area and from holiday park to holiday park.

In my opinion it is crucial to appoint a local solicitor that has specialist knowledge in this field and that has done this sort of conveyancing many times.

The following is list of solicitors that i have worked with in the past and found in my opinion to be very proficient  in understanding the unique qualities that are required both as a seller and as a buyer of holiday chalets.

England & Co Solicitors :-

I Deal a lot with Shannon Beare who is located at England & Co Gorleston office,she can be contacted on 01493 604990.

She has a fixed fee of £525+ vat for both sellers & Buyers( plus some disbursements which vary depending on which site).

I also deal Ross Greenfield at the martham office and this allows Englands to act for both the buyer and the sellers.

Im just as happy putting up a curtain rail as i am rennervating a complete chalet. So as the saying goes NO JOB TO SMALL.

if you  rent out your chalet you have a duty of care to ensure all your portable electrical goods such as toasters,kettles,hairdryers,hovers & even wall mounted heaters etc are safe for your guest to use.The first step towards this is to have your chalet items Pat tested at the start of ever season and then to carry out your own visual and operation test throughout the season,I will test each item in compliance with the regulations ,affix a pass label on each appliance and issue you with the relevant inspection report paperwork for your records
